(WFRV) – The Milwaukee Brewers are doing another round of the trading card prints distributed by police officers, after the first round saw tons of positive feedback.
The campaign is driven by a desire to connect officers with youth through the love of baseball. The Brewers Business Operations President said the following:
“We have received such great feedback from law enforcement as well as fans appreciating the impact the Brewers trading card print program has in the community. This tradition started more than 40 years ago, and we are so pleased to expand the program to help inspire the next generation of baseball fans.”

This second run will feature outfielders Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick, as well as catcher William Contreras and infielders Brice Turang and Joey Ortiz. Each print will come in plastic wrap and be a reprint of the comic book-inspired cards.
Numerous police departments in Wisconsin will provide the cards, with over 1,000 packs each, including Appleton, De Pere, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Oshkosh and more.
The program is expected to expand even further next season.
